GONE HAZEL, who write
and perform their own music, have been described as a "progressive, alternative
rock band," who offer their audience their own unique combination of captivating
sound and lyrics, which combine to make a dynamic, new kind of rock and roll
that reaches out to their audience, with a strong message.
The four young men who are the members of Gone Hazel, all hail from Orange
County, California and have been playing together for over two years, range
in age from 17 - 21. Ryan Smith is a talented fellow. He plays Bass electric
guitar, acoustic guitar, piano and harmonica. Tim Drnec does a fine job on the
lead vocals and excels on the acoustic guitar. Kyle Circle - is the expert in
charge of the drums and percussion. David Rooks - Plays the guitar, is in charge
of the BGV's, toothbrush and rubber bands. On their
album,
GONE HAZEL, Jon Druse was the lead guitar and did the BGV's. Their album, GONE
HAZEL, was mixed and produced by the talented Bob Burch at Backbone Studios,
in Westminster, Calif. Tim Drnec credits Bob Burch as being the biggest influence
on his music. Much can be learned from the ideas and expertise of a great producer.
There is something for everyone on this CD. It offers meaningful lyrics, to
go along with interesting arrangements in their unique style of music. They
challenge listeners to seek the truth for themselves.
